Ottawa, ON – The Ottawa Titans Baseball Club, along with the Desjardins Ontario Credit Union are proud to announce the Desjardins Ottawa Titans Baseball Buddies program.

Thanks to Desjardins Ontario Credit Union, the Ottawa Titans Baseball Buddies program has taken off this season, with youth baseball teams being introduced one by one alongside Titans starters to the crowd at Ottawa Stadium.

“We are very pleased with this partnership as it strongly aligns with Desjardins’ values of contributing to the economic and social wellbeing of individuals and communities,” said Chantal Lajoie, Regional Vice-President for Ottawa at Desjardins Ontario Credit Union.

“The Ottawa Titans are proud to partner with Desjardins and provide youth team’s the chance to enter the field with the pros, with community response and participant applications being overwhelming,” said Titans Vice President and COO, Regan Katz. “We pride ourselves on bringing quality and affordable family entertainment to the city and believe the Baseball Buddies program will build life-long Titans fans.”

Over the course of the Titans’ home schedule this year, Baseball Buddies stand with Titans starters on-field during their own team intro and the National Anthems.

Each participant takes home an official signed Baseball Buddies certificate to commemorate the experience and share the story with their loved ones.
