Ottawa, ON – The Frontier League has announced utility player Jason Dicochea as an addition to the East Division roster for the upcoming 2023 Frontier League All-Star Game, in Crestwood, Illinois on Wednesday, July 12. Dicochea will join left-handed pitcher Grant Larson and catcher Sicnarf Loopstok as the Titans’ representatives at next week’s festivities.
Dicochea, 25, will make the first all-star appearance of his professional career, as he has posted a .291 average with eight home runs and 32 RBI through 48 games this season. Dicochea is currently riding a five-game hitting streak and has posted 16 multi-hit performances this season. Playing in every game so far this year, Dicochea has appeared defensively at first base, second base, shortstop, catcher, left field, and right field.
The Redondo Beach, California product returned to Ottawa following a dominant 2022 campaign where in 83 regular season games, he hit .308 with 21 doubles, three triples, six home runs, and 55 RBI.
