Baseball Operations Support Staff

  • Athletic Therapist (Summer 2025)

    The Ottawa Titans are looking for a reliable and dedicated Athletic Therapist to oversee the day-to-day care and treatment of Titans players. The Athletic Therapist reports directly to the General Manager and On-Field Manager. The Athletic Therapist role is seasonal, full-time beginning at the end of April and working until the final game of the season, including playoffs. 


    The Athletic Therapist will remain employed until the final Titans game of the year. The Athletic Therapist is expected to travel with the team on the road and be available for all Titans games during the season. 


    Responsibilities

    • Provide quality comprehensive care for athletes through prevention, evaluation, care, and treatment of injuries and illnesses and assist with injury rehabilitation
    • Screening and referral of athletes to team physicians when appropriate, including booking appointments as necessary
    • Serve as the athletic trainer for the baseball team including practice and game coverage as well as team travel
    • Compile and maintain injury and treatment documentation for the team
    • Supervision and daily operation of the baseball athletic training room
    • Assist with establishing, coordinating, supervising, and monitoring athletic training services to all baseball players
    • Communicate with coaches and staff on all athlete health issues and ongoing treatments
    • Offer recommendations based on status of athlete injuries
    • Assist with upkeep of the facilities, emergency equipment, and other related tasks
    • Other duties as assigned by the coaching staff and management

    Requirements 

    • Willingness and ability to take on seasonal work and a variable schedule including late nights and weekends
    • Ability to work independently and self-motivate, problem solve, think outside the box, and work in a fast-paced environment

    • Degree or working toward degree related to Athletic Therapy

Part-Time Summer Game Day

Box Office

  • 50/50 Seller (18+)

    Duties

    • Sell 50/50 Tickets during Ottawa Titans home games

    • Approach fans pre-game and in-game to communicate the details of the 50/50 raffle program including the charitable impact of the dollars raised

    • Accurately handle the sale and distribution of 50/50 tickets, following program requirements

    • Answer questions fans may have about the Ottawa Titans Field of Dreams Foundation

    • Bring fun, positive energy to the ballpark

    • Turn in all balanced cash and tickets to the Ticketing Department at the close of the shift

    Duties

    • Accompany Cappy while performing game duties

    Duties

    • Operate professional video cameras to capture high-quality footage of live baseball games, including close-ups, wide shots, entertainment, and fan reactions

    • Collaborate with directors and production staff to fulfill specific shot requirements during play and between-inning promotions

    • Monitor cameras and related equipment during broadcasts to ensure they are operational and adjust settings as necessary

    • Communicate effectively with the production team to coordinate shots and respond to real-time direction

    • Troubleshoot technical issues with camera equipment and perform minor repairs or adjustments as needed

    Duties

    • Picking and delivering orders for concession areas as required

    • Maintaining a clean and organized storage area

    • Notifying management of supply needs when low

    • Removal of garbage and recycling throughout the shift

    • Receiving deliveries when required

    • Other duties as assigned


    Skills & Qualifications

    • Smart Serve Certified Required

    • Food Safety Handling Certificate considered an asset 

    • Ability to work a flexible part-time schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays from May 1 through September 22

    • Living in Ottawa or the National Capital Region


    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to constantly stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions

    • Ability to remain standing for the entire length of shift

    • May be required to work in confined and/or narrow spaces

    • Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds
