OFFICIAL FRONTIER LEAGUE BOX SCORE

Crestwood, IL - The Ottawa Titans (32-32) got solid production on all fronts in a 10-1 win over the Windy City ThunderBolts (26-37) on Friday.

Damon Casetta-Stubbs (win, 4-3) rolled through six shutout innings to win his fourth contest of the season. The righty allowed just two hits, walked one, and struck out seven in the quality start. Over his last eight outings, Casetta-Stubbs is 4-1 with a 1.69 ERA.

The offence strung together 14 hits in the win and plated seven runs in the opening five innings against Javier Reynoso (loss, 2-1) to take the series opener.

After knocking Reynoso out of the game, Taylor Wright's sac fly extended the lead before David Mendham's two-run double to centre scored a pair to make it 7-0.

Sicnarf Loopstok helped lead the way offensively with a 2-for-5 night. Loopstok bounced back with an RBI double in the third inning and led off the seventh inning with his eighth homer of the season.

Leading big, Austin Davis and AJ Wright helped plate a couple more in the seventh inning to extend the lead as big as 10-0.

Following Casetta-Stubbs' outing, the ThunderBolts got on the board with a Dan Robinson RBI single off Nick MacDonald.

Kenny Williams and Trevor Clifton got through a combined two shutout innings to help the Titans snap a three-game losing streak.

Newcomer Joey Terdoslavich chipped in with a 3-for-5 performance in his Titans debut. The former major leaguer was signed earlier in the day after starting the season in the Mexican League.

In the win, Austin Davis, Joey Terdoslavich each recorded three hits, while Taylor Wright and Scinarf Loopstok each posted two hits.

The Ottawa Titans continue their three-game series at 7:05 p.m. ET on Saturday night at Ozigna Field against the Windy City ThunderBolts.
